Getting to the Central Coast

The NSW Central Coast is only a short 40 minute drive from Sydney’s northern suburbs (Hornsby).  Once leaving Sydney, The drive is on a three lane freeway through Ku ring gai and Brisbane Waters National Parks.

If you don’t have access to a car, the train service to the Central Coast is a good one.  Trains leave every 30 minutes from Central Station. The journey is beautiful, winding through Ku ring gai and Brisbane Water National Parks, crossing the Hawkesbury River and winding along Mullet Creek, before arriving at the Central Coast.  Depending on your kayak tour, you will be travelling to either Woy Woy or Gosford Station.  Click below for a link to the timetable.
